The latest golf device soon to be taking the industry by storm is the Pro-Relief by GolfMed. The Golf Model of the Pro-Relief is an easy-to-use muscle therapy device designed to be used before, during and after a round of golf or practice session. It eliminates the restrictions golfers experience as a result of muscle stiffness and pain. The Pro-Relief will increase a golfer’s flexibility and range of motion, relieve their pain, reducing their risk of injury and most importantly enhance their performance. And the great thing about it is that the golfer can take it with them (it fits in the umbrella slot of most golf bags) and use it during play. It is one of those unique items every golfer would love to have in their bag. The Pro-Relief Golf Model can only be purchased through golf professionals.
The Pro-Relief addresses the two major physical issues nearly every golfer struggles with regardless of age: range of motion and fitness of the back, neck and spine. Golfers with chronic back and neck pain or stiffness won't want to leave home without it, but it is not only for those who suffer from injuries or physical problems. In fact, high school, college and mini-tour players experience range of motion limitations too. Without intervention, these limitations lead to inconsistent performance, injuries and chronic pain.
It takes very little effort to use the Pro-Relief once you learn its basic principles. It works on a lever/fulcrum principle that is multiplied by angles. The amount of pressure needed for complete muscle tension relief is actually very easy to apply. The golf specific design is made of lightweight aluminum and it fits into the umbrella slot of a golf bag. It has been approved for use during competition and prototypes have already been spotted in the bags of some of the more fitness conscious on the PGA and European Tours as well as the flexibility-challenged on the Champions Tour.
We have all experienced the effects of muscle and joint pain. A lack of muscle coordination leaves us feeling our "timing" is off or we are rushing our swing. We know something is unusual, but we can't put our finger on it. All professional athletes experience these “off days”. Movement is compromised by muscle stiffness and pain. A little probing with the Pro-Relief will reveal the source of these problems and a few minutes of “relief work” can eliminate them.
What does this all mean to you, the golf professional?
We established our golf market distribution model specifically for you. Giving back to the game is important to us and we consider instructors to be the backbone of the industry. Only golf professionals (club pros, teaching pros or playing pros) are eligible to distribute our golf model. You won’t need to purchase inventory, meet sales quotas or attend meetings. And don’t be concerned about “pushing” a product. The Pro-Relief is a therapeutic device with 19 design and utility patents pending. There is nothing else like it on the market and its unique appearance attracts attention.
To become a dealer simply fill out the reply form to get started immediately. If you have email, communication will be very easy. Be the first in your area to introduce the golf model of the Pro-Relief to the public and put a smile of relief on a golfer’s face this holiday season.
What is in the Dealer Package?
The Golf Professional Dealer package includes two Pro-Reliefs with a packet of information comprised of sales and marketing tips and other procedural information. Through our testing, we found the easiest way to sell the Pro-Relief is to use it yourself and let it be seen. No doubt, most of you who teach have students who suffer from some form of limited flexibility or pain. Obviously you will want to contact them and have them go to our website for information, purchase, etc. Be sure to include the Pro-Relief in your teaching protocol to give your students a warm-up routine they can use every time they practice or play. Not only will their strength and flexibility increase, but they will be able to avoid injuries and get more out of their lessons with you. When you receive your two Pro-Reliefs, put one in your own bag (it is designed to fit in the umbrella slot) and put one at your teaching station for your students to use. Go through the warm-up routine with your student at the beginning of their lesson (5 min.). Demonstrate by using yours as they follow along. This is far more effective than hitting a small bucket to “loosen-up”. By exposing your students to the benefits of using the Pro-Relief first-hand, you are basically “soft-selling” and they’ll soon be asking you to get them one. As you learn more about the techniques for using the Pro-Relief, you can even dedicate more time during a lesson to teach them how to use it; especially those students whose flexibility limitations hinder their progress with you. You can also offer further instruction with it to those students who purchase one.
Let’s not forget your own benefits from using the Pro-Relief. Aside from the extra income as a dealer and more effective teaching due to your student’s increased physical capabilities, it can have a huge effect on your own daily routine. Instructors encounter the same occupational hazards as anyone who works outside all day. Being on your feet 90% of the time can lead to back problems and other muscle stiffness developing trigger points and muscle weakness in your neck shoulders and legs. Your neck and shoulders are further strained by the constant downward viewing position of your head.
Without immediate intervention, further muscle weakness and shortening occurs and you will develop latent or dormant trigger points that will lie in waiting, ready to spoil your next round or tournament the moment you make a wrong move. We learned of these occupational issues from the renowned golf instructor Jim Flick. Mr. Flick happened to see us one morning at a driving range where we were testing the device prototype. After showing him how to use it, he told us that he couldn’t imagine any golf instructor not wanting one for themselves. He said after a day of teaching, his neck and shoulders get extremely tight, often leading to headaches as well as back and arm pain. He saw the Pro-Relief as something he could use all day while he was teaching and it wouldn’t interfere with his work. So don’t overlook what the Pro-Relief can do for you in your occupational environment!
